Hi friends, the month of June was one for the books! As we navigated some tricky waters together, we wanted to share what happened:
- Erie Insurance was Successful at Preventing a Cyber Attack. At this time, there is no evidence of ransomware
- Erie Newsroom published an updated media release on June 23rd.
- AM BEST still gives Erie an A+ (Superior) financial strength ratings for Erie Insurance Group and Erie Family Life remain unchanged
- Fortune 500 lists Erie at #323 of the 2025 largest corporations
- Forbes 2025 lists Erie as “America’s Best Employers” for New Grads
- Erie Celebrated their 100th anniversary on April 20, 2025! 🥳
What does this mean for Erie customers? Your coverages remain in place!
- Billing: If you are set up for monthly withdrawals for dates after June 6, 2025, your draft was paused with no lates fees due to the outage:
- You can do nothing today and wait until your next payment due date in July. Erie’s system will automatically double draft your June payment & July’s payment on your July draft date
- You can choose to make a one-time manual payment now for the month of June and then your July draft will occur as normal
- To make a manual online payment, go to www.erieinsurance.com
- Go to the bottom left and click Pay My Bill
- Enter your Policy Number: QXX-XXXXXX & Zip Code
- Click on the Make a ONE TIME Payment (second button below log in).
- If the Monthly Premium isn’t showing in the PAY box, drop down to Different Amount and enter your monthly premium
- Take a Screenshot of your payment confirmation for your records.

- Your July payment will draft as normal with NO LATE FEES due to the outage
